Burris 4.5-14x42mm Fullfield II Ballistic Plex Riflescope Review

Product Description

Burris 4.5-14x42mm Fullfield II PA Rifle Scope w/ Burris RimFire Rifle Scope 200183-RF gives you two rifle scopes for the price of one, to handle any shooting situation! This Burris value package includes a Burris 200183 Fullfield 2 Rifle Scope and a Burris RimFire 3-9×40 Rifle Scope.

The Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14×42 Rifle Scope has a one-piece main tube and eyepiece, a steel-on-steel adjustment system, and HiLume multi-coatings on every single air-to-glass lens surface.

Compared to the original version of this Burris Rifle Scope, the Burris FullField II Riflescope is even more forgiving for eye position, is a little shorter, better sealed, and a good bit lighter, with a relocated adjustment system. Burris has merged the magnification ring and eyepiece into one solid unit requiring only two seals rather than three. To change magnification, simply turn the entire eyepiece.

The Burris Full-Field II Scope eliminates most of the potential leak paths in the eyepiece/power ring area, and the remainder is sealed with special quad seals instead of O-rings.

The adjustment system has been moved to improve mounting options, and the European-style adjustable eyepiece requires no locking mechanism.

The rifle scope has a Ballistic Plex reticle with a lower vertical crosshair with small ballistic lines that automatically compensate for bullet drop from 100 to 500 yards for many common cartridges. Every scope is individually recoiled, water and fog proof tested.

The Burris 3X-9X-40mm RimFire Riflescope was designed for rimfire cartridge rifles such as the .22 and .17. This riflescope contains a sharp Plex reticle that is sure to increase accuracy in your plinking and target shooting. Both magnification of the target and brightness of the view through the Burris RimFire Scope will increase your hits, your scores, and fun in the field with your rimfire rifle

Why Choose Burris Fullfield IIs Rifle Scope?

With a legacy of high performance, modest prices and the backing of a Forever Warranty, choosing to purchase a Fullfield II riflescope isn’t difficult. Burris Fullfield IIs are packed with the performance features: Outstanding optical quality. Positive steel-on-steel adjustments.

Extremely rugged outer tubes. No-slip grips on the integrated eyepiece and focus adjustment. To make a fair comparison with other brands, you’ll have to look at riflescopes costing hundreds of dollars more. With performance standards so high and their retail prices so reasonable, you may not have to limit yourself to just one

Burris uses lenses with a greater diameter than the competition. Fullfield II lenses are 25% larger than the competition in 1″ tubes. The outer tubes and internal components are extremely robust. The adjustment system is repeatable, steel on steel system with audible clicks.

Every Burris scope has double internal spring force. The Burris Posi-Lock is a coil-spring assisted retractable steel post that firmly and securely locks accuracy into place.

Once the reticle is zeroed, the covering tube (red) replaces the internal spring (green) and locks the inner tube in place. Some of the competition offers a double spring as an option, but it’s the standard for all Burris products.

Features of Burris 4.5-14x42mm Fullfield II Rifle Scope

Waterproof: All Burris optics are proven to be absolutely waterproof. Each scope is submerged in water with a temperature of 50° C. The extremely hot water transfers its heat to the scope and the internal nitrogen expands 100% testing assures quality.

Each scope is filled and purged at least 24 times with high quality, laboratory grade dry nitrogen. Each nitrogen cycle absorbs airborne and residual surface moisture that is evacuated from the scope. Burris uses specially made quad seals to provide double insurance against leakage.

Fog proof: The nitrogen contained in the scope is of high quality (ultra dry, laboratory grade nitrogen), ultra pure and ultra clean. To be sure that all airborne moisture and surfaces moisture within a scope is evacuated, testing consists of 24 cycles of pressurizing the scope and then subjecting it to a vacuum. The tests are both cost & time intensive.

Shockproof: Burris scopes are subjected to extreme recoil tests. An impact machine is used to measure and duplicate the recoil pulse acceleration and duration. This machine has been calibrated and verified by an independent laboratory to replicate the wave frequencies and shock impulses that a scope is subjected to.
