Belgian ace Eden Hazard has stated that Chelsea has found a great target man in the form of Olivier Giroud since his arrival from Arsenal to Stamford Bridge in the winter transfer window.
Antonio Conte’s Blues were struggling to find any inspiration in the past few weeks but a convincing 3-0 win in at Stamford Bridge at the hands of West Bromwich Albion has given the Italian boss some breathing space ahead of a massive Champions League clash against Barcelona next week.

Conte also decided to start new Arrival Olivier Giroud for this first time since a switch to the Blue side of London on Monday and the Frenchman notched up a deft assist for Chelsea’s opening goal. The 31-year-old striker looked lively until he was withdrawn at the hour mark but was heavily involved in Chelsea’s attack on the field.
Giroud joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day in January after Michy Batshuayi left the Blues to join Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund on loan.
Hazard Will Relish Playing With Giroud-
Eden Hazard, who linked up well with Giroud for the first goal later revealed that he was happy with his arrival at Chelsea, the 27-year-old winger was sublime on the night as he ended the game with a brace and Chelsea’s third.
After the game, Hazard said, “I think he’s a great target man. He has a lot of defenders around him so we are free to play around him, myself, Pedro and Willian,”
“He’s a good guy, a good target man and he can score a lot of goals. He’s a good point of reference but we have him, we have Alvaro and I can also play as a striker.” added the Belgian.

The former Gunner is a great target man and Chelsea fans would be happy to have the Frenchman in their armory, he will also be able to take off some of the goal-scoring pressure of Alvaro Morata, who has been up and down at times with Chelsea. Giroud holds up the ball well and can involve his team-mates around him, he should adapt well to Chelsea’s style of play.
