Differential Picks for Fantasy Premier League GW2

It’s not always the big name players who win you the cash on Sportito. With no salary cap, its tempting to fill your squad with the superstars from each team, but if the majority of participants are doing so, you need to be different.

This is where ‘differentials’ come into play – players who will not be highly owned in a contest. They are your secret weapon. If they produce the goods, they can make all the difference between finishing first and second in a contest.

Here are five differentials to consider for your GW2 team.

Charlie Daniels (D)

Bournemouth vs Watford (Saturday 15.00)

Daniels bombs forward from left back at every opportunity. He’s scored 7 goals and registered 8 assists in his two seasons in the Premier League with Bournemouth. Eddie Howe will be looking for a response from his players following their 1-0 defeat to West Brom in GW1. If Bournemouth are to get their first three points of the season on Saturday, Daniels will likely rake in the fantasy points.

Marc Albrighton (MF)

Leicester vs Brighton (Saturday 15.00)

Albrighton often gets overlooked by fantasy managers in favour of his teammates Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez. He showed again in GW1 that he’s capable of producing the goods, providing an assist for Vardy. He’s an excellent crosser of the ball and also takes his fair share of set pieces. Brighton at home could prove to be an ideal fixture to take a punt on him.

Dusan Tadic (MF)

Southampton vs West Ham (Saturday 15.00)

Tadic was impressive in Southampton’s 0-0 draw with Swansea last weekend. He should have got himself on the score sheet on at least one occasion in that game. The Saints welcome West Ham to St. Mary’s in Gw2 and Tadic could have some joy against a Hammers’ defence which shipped four goals against Manchester United.

Christian Benteke (F)

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace (Saturday 15.00)

Remember what happened last when Benteke faced his former employers at Anfield last season? He scored a brace in a 2-1 win for Palace. It would be no surprise to see him repeat that feat this weekend given how poor Liverpool have been defensively in recent fixtures.

Aaron Mooy (MF)

Huddersfield vs Newcastle (Sunday 13.30)

Mooy put in an impressive individual performance in Huddersfield’s surprise 3-0 win over Palace in GW1. The Australian is on set pieces for the Terriers and got an assist against Palace. He may even be on penalty duty, but we won’t know for sure until they get one.
