This is a "real time" interview with my other half!

For all those that get "the nagging of the other half", i have an exceptional missus who is watching these games with me. For every England game. My other half @tracy_chapman will highlight the best and worst of what she sees. None of mine. Just the Mrs.

What did you expect from this game?

I expected them to play well. keep the ball, attack, cross well. Play as a team

How do you think the game started?

The game started well with our first goal. A bit slow, we were defending well.

Team performance who stood out?

Heskey, he done ok suprisingly. Rooney did not seem up for it as i expected. Shaun Wright-Phillips done really well when he came on. Could have expected a little bit more from daddy long legs (Peter Crouch), but he was not on that long.

What do you think of the USA`s Equalizer?

Unexpected goal, hit full on at Green, which he spilled, this could have happened to any goalie, he came back after that and made a great save. He did not have much action in the game other than that one and the spilled goal. He held his hands up and got on with it.

Look this is one player with one mistake. If it was another player who had made "one mistake" would you look at it the same way? The goalie has made one and it is "if Rooney had made one" would you replace him? No. he has made one. he is a great player. You can not outcast one player. they are all there to play for England.


Would you pick him for the next game?

Yes.

Is there anybody that stood out?

Gerrard, stood out. He was "everywhere". Shaun Wright-Phillips. In fact most stood out they all played well. Crouch after replacing Heskey did not really get into it. Heskey was played offside probably too many times and i think Rooney did not really get into the game. He missed a few opportunities and lost posession too much.

Glen Johnson i saw with a lot of the ball and played some real good crosses.

OK, what do you think of the immediate media coverage?

Bullshit!

Why?

Putting us on an immediate downer and putting us out of the cup.

Even if we won 1-0 there would still have been bullshit. ITV touted it as the end of the world.

What did you think of James Cordens show after the game?

Hilarious! don`t know what the fuck Katy Perry was all about but other wise hilarious. All posistive and great that we had Gordo Banks on that show.
