Although some people out there still think Hyundai/Kia cars are cheap econo-boxes, most enthusiasts understand that isn’t the case anymore. The Hyundai Genesis is a popular choice for enthusiasts, but like many cars, the OEM seats in the Genesis aren’t the greatest. During high G-force corners, you will be forced to brace your legs against the door panel and center console, as well as hold on to the steering wheel, to keep yourself in place. With a proper set of racing seats, however, this isn’t a problem since your hips and upper body are held in place by the bolstering on each side of the seat.
The seats that our customer chose to run are Braum Racing Elite Series Sport Seats Maroon Leatherette seats. The Elite Series seats are wrapped in thick, high-quality suede or leatherette in a sleek, aggressive, race-inspired shape. The result is an understated yet unmistakable silhouette that is at the same time both understated and conspicuous. The Maroon color looks surprisingly good against the white paint of this Genesis, and isn’t too “in your face.”
