So I have a collection of stones which are said to contain “metaphysical” properties which do things such as dispel negativity, bring about calmness, bring about wealth or opportunities, and so on. Each is said to contain certain energies that produce certain effects around us. I usually like to carry a pocket Stone with me every day for this purpose which may sound childish and silly but time and time again I have experienced benefits when carrying one. Yesterday was a really good example of this.

Yesterday morning I went to my window seal where I have most of my stones and felt drawn to a particular stone. The stone was a yellow citrine which is known as the “stone of abundance”. It is said to aid in alignment with your higher self as well as attract and maintain abundance. So I went about my day and went to work with a client as usual. Side note: I work in the health care field.  So when I get done with my shift I have two missed calls. One from my former schools career services, and another from the office.

It turned out that the office had called me to ask me if I would like to pick up more shifts with another client which I did. The school had called me to notify me that I am being considered for a full time position and that I needed to contact so and so tomorrow. For the next hour I couldn’t help but feel like the doorway of opportunity was open waiting for me to walk through. So now I have more shifts and the possibility of getting a full time job.

Yes, it could have been a complete coincidence that this happened on the day I chose to carry this stone with me but, then again What are the odds of two great opportunities making themselves visible right in front of me on the same day that I had chosen to carry this particular stone? This is my account for today’s curious happening. One might ask, “how would a stone do that?” From my perspective, the energies that the stone carries directly intermingle with the energy of your core being resulting in these effects. Or, you subconsciously have the mindset of those properties which allows for you to create that reality in the physical dimension.

One last thing to add to this post. I also received my w-4 for tax returns yesterday as well….Weird or should i say, curious.
