I’m a few weeks late in getting it posted here, but since I just posted about our Father’s Day weekend adventure, I’d thought it only fitting to share my June post for TommyNelson.com. My post is all about reflection, reflecting on my husband as a daddy, and reflecting on his journey to get there.

The Best Daddy I’ve Ever Known

As Father’s Day draws near, we often reflect on those men in our lives who have shown us what it truly means to be a father. They have become our heroes, our leaders, and living examples of sacrifice and love.

Dads are superheroes in the eyes of their children (and many times their wives), stronger than any adversary and braver than the fictional monsters under our beds. These men are also the first example of God’s fatherly love to their wee ones.

When I think of these real life superheroes, my mind instantly brings up an image of my husband, Jeremy. He is an unlikely superhero, but the perfect example of the power of Christ in a father’s life…. Read more.
