Last week Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales premiered in Hollywood at the Dolby theater. Yes that is the theater of the Oscars and we actually got to take our cameras inside this time. But before watched the movie in that amazing theater, we walked the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Red Carpet and enjoyed the premiere party. The Pirates of the Caribbean Premiere was just as any Disney premiere, amazing and over the top.
On the red carpet were movie stars like Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush.

This red carpet was actually a beautiful sea green/blue in color. It was breath taking it was so pretty. It really set the tone for watching a sea worthy adventure that Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales. Pirates of the Caribbean has always been one of my favorite movie series. I love the story of Captain Jack Sparrow and his quest for the Black Pearl, gold and really anything that includes Rum.

1. Take photos –

For a Pirate themed red carpet you have to take a lot of photos with pirates

You also need to take photos of the actors on the red carpet
2. You go to the before or after party and have a fantastic time.

For the Pirates of the Caribbean Red Carpet Premiere the party was a pre-party. As soon as we arrived at the Dolby theater it was party time.
3. You have a drink and a lot of snacks. We had wine and Pirate Punch and a lot of snacks
4. Get your make up done. At the Pirates of the Caribbean Red Carpet Premiere I got my make up done by a professional. It was so much fun.
5. Take pictures with and of as many actors and entertainers as you can find. I found two more stars to take pictures with.
Then I enjoyed the movie. Pirates of the Caribbean fits nicely into the story and wraps up a few things in my opinion. The action is there, the humor is there and the fun of Jack Sparrow is there. The movie begins with him trying to steal money from a bank and he ends up saving a “witch”. She isn’t actually a witch she’s a scientist and of course tied to the pirates in a mysterious way. The adventure unfolds as we find out who she really is and how she can help another pirate save his father from an evil curse. Of course there’s a lot more to tell about the movie but that will have to wait for another post.
