Whilst I am big supporter of the Gift Card as a present for just about any occasion, I must say that gift cards for Valentines Day are a no no unless accompanied by a physical gift. If you are going to go to the trouble to buy a present for your partner for Valentines Day,a gift card will really spoil your evening. I suggest that you buy nothing at all and take your partner out for a light meal instead. It will place you in better favor for the evening. A gift card will unfortunately signal laziness and a possible arguement before the evening has even begun.
