Most of you in-the-know fashionistas recognize that colored Hair is the IT trend of the year. Many fashion influencers are lavishly endowed with gorgeous locks of the rainbow. However, in order to successfully achieve this unicorn look, you must bleach, and I mean bleach the HECK out of your locks. Sadly, this can be extremely damaging to your hair and can cause some major headaches…pun most certainly intended.

Fortunately, thanks to the innovators in awesome hair technology, there are deep conditioning repair masks to keep your locks healthy and shiny. I was lucky to have the opportunity to try out Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask sent to me by Influenster. Boy oh boy was I pleased!

Here at Nylon Pink, we’re pretty big fans of packaging. I personally love minimalistic, sleek designs. This product achieves this aesthetic quite well and is easy to manage. Plus, there’s a hygienic cover that is placed between the lid and the mask product so you don’t contaminate the mask.

If you’ve never used a hair mask before, fear not. I hadn’t either and now I will always incorporate this in my hair care routine.

First, most hair products can wield a pretty intimidating list of chemical ingredients. To be honest, it’s really hard to keep up with the latest chemical that’s in most hair products that destroy your hair.

What I love about Briogio’s Deep Conditioning Mask is that it does not contain any sulfates, silicones, or parabens that can exacerbate the state of bleached or colored hair. By utilizing avocado, sweet almond and argan oil blend, and vitamins, it keeps your hair healthy, smooth, and vibrant.

So, how do you use this hair mask? Here are the directions. Be sure to follow the directions carefully on the back of the package!

After shampooing, massage Don’t Despair, Repair! hair mask into your hair from root to tip.

​​​​​Leave in for 5-10 minutes before rinsing

For even deeper conditioning, cover the hair in a plastic cap to retain moisture while sitting under the

dryer for 20 minutes, then rinse.

As you can see, this mask has done miracles on my hair. In the before photo, my hair is frizzy and the ends were clearly dry and split. After using the mask once, I could see and feel a noticeable difference in my hair quality. Afterwards, the ends felt super smooth and my hair had a beautiful shine.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anybody who has colored, bleached, or damaged hair. Not only does it treat and nourish your hair, it also uses natural ingredients that don’t further damage the quality of your locks. Also, the packaging comes in a huge 8 oz. size that would probably last for at least 6-8 months of treatment.
