What You Never Learned In School or At Home

Another day another post. Feeling quite philosophical today, so wanna here it here it go:

There are 2 (two) things that we need in this life that no one teaches us. These two things are essential in our modern day society. These two things are a skill set that when mastered effectively, can dramatically change the way you perceive life and the universe itself.

It's not taught in Universities or even by our parents who love us so much. These two things are at times intimately connected and have power and influence over all we know. These two things are:
finance & relationships.

When I say finance I mean, understanding the concepts of managing resources that lead and control wealth. When I say relationships, I mean how we interact and relate to others. It dosen't have to be male and female, it can be mother to sister, father to brother, or just colleague to colleague.

In economics class I did learn about scarcity. Scarcity is actually a bullshit concept that someone came up with so we can perceive that there isn't enough of one thing so that it can be placed at a high value. In actuality there is an abundance of everything, and everyone can afford to have any of it. Any of it once the person or people in control of the resource will allow you to have it or you can figure out how to control it (the thing that you desire).

Money is very weird. You have to keep it moving. It loves movement. If you try to contain it for too long, it seeks to be set free. Donate it to charity. Spend it amongst your friends. Invest it. Give money a purpose or a goal. But whatever you do, don't horde money or you will pay the consequence of losing it. It's like that $500 you were saving up just to save it. Then all of a sudden something on your car breaks and it ends up costing you not only the $500 but another $50 added on to it. Keep money moving.

Relationships. How you relate to people will decide the type of life you'll have. Learn how to relate to people in all types of situations, of all different backgrounds. Get to know and understand human beings and human behavior. Largely, get to know yourself. If you can figure out what makes yourself tick, then you can figure out anyone. You'll appreciate people and life a whole lot more when you master relating to anyone.

Master the skill sets of finance and relationships. Study how money really works. Then you won't get emotional when you hear about people getting laid off, or worry about if you'll ever be rich.
Learn the art of being a good listener, and how to relate to others.
Study some psychology, sociology and history. Educate yourself on anything that involves people and how they interact. Overall invest in yourself and contribute something good to the world.
