I'm writing a book about life. Some of it I'll share with you guys in this blog entry.
Life is about perceptions, our own vs. everyone else's. A lot of what we see isn't even real, but created by what our minds perceive, I guess that would somehow make it our own reality.
When you walk down the street and you accidently stumble or bump your toe, you get embarrased and think everyone is laughing at you. However, the people walking in the opposite direction could have been laughing at their own joke all along. They weren't even paying attention to you. When you're about to make that big speech, and you look into the audiences eyes and they look bored, worried or even uninterested, it can be that they had a long day, or they can't remember if they left the stove on before they left the house....any number of things can be racing through their minds! But we percieve it as us boring our audience or failing at speaking... we've taken it entirely out of proportion when it probably had nothing to do with anything.
