GCSE English Language - Imaginative Writing
This resource can be used alongside the 'Growing Up' theme in the 9-1 Edexcel English Languge Text Anthology. The text focuses on how manners at the table have a negative impact on children.
As part of the taught session, learners could discuss childhood rules, create rules for children today, they study the text and then write descriptively about either memories at the dining table or about the images provided. For the writing task, you could encourage your learners to think about the atmosphere and the thoughts/feelings of the people in the images.
