SLOW SHUTTER SPEED PHOTOS

Waterfalls are often the subject of choice for those trying to capture some Slow Shutter speed photos.

This one was taken at the beautiful Mt Field National Park in Tasmania.  What a pristine Location.

The use of the Slow shutter speed allows the photographer to blur the movement with the water taking on a milky type look. This is easiest done early mornings or late afternoons when the sun is not as harsh as the trick is to balance the slow shutter speed with the right aperture setting for good exposure.

So next time you find that perfect waterfall, give it a go and you may be surprised with what you come up with. If you want some help learning skills like this, then study with us in our great online photography courses.  Until the end of January 2019 our great Professional Photography Course is on SALE so take advantage of this now!
