GCET 2018 Counselling: Seat Allotment, Admission Process

The candidates who wish to attend the GCET 2018 counselling session have to obtain the prescribed cut off marks in GCET 2018. And, The conducting authority will decide the cutoff marks. And, cut off marks is minimum marks required to apply for the counselling process and admissions into the desired college. The Cut off marks are dependent on a number of factors like the number of seats available, the number of students passed the level of difficulty of Question paper etc. The second round of Counselling will take place from 14 July 2018 to 20 July 2018. GCET 2018 Counselling

The GCET 2018 counselling process will start from 16 June 2018. And, The first round counselling will start after display of final merit list. The qualified students will get an E-mail/ SMS for confirmation of their counselling. Moreover, the shortlisted candidates will also get the other information about the Venue, Day, Date and Time of the session. The students who have qualified in the exam and received the acknowledgement can attend the counselling. No other candidates will be allowed at the venue.

Important Points to Note:

  • Seat allocation will be done according to the availability of seats and the rank of the candidate.

  • Further, The candidate must attend the GCET 2018 counselling in person as per the schedule.

  • Finally, the DTE, Goa will release the schedule for GOA CET Counselling at official website @www.dtegoa.gov.in

List of Documents Required at Counselling Venue

Candidates have to bring the self-attested copies of the following documents for the purpose of document verification:

  1. Birth Certificate

  2. 12th and 10th Mark sheet

  3. 12th and 10th Passing Certificate

  4. School leaving/ College Leaving Certificate

  5. Residence proof

  6. Caste Certificate (only if applicable)

  7. Acknowledgment slip of GCET 2018 with photograph

  8. GCET 2018 Admit Card

  9. Certificate of eligibility from Goa University (applicable only for candidates outside Goa).

Finally, DTE will publish the GCET 2018 counselling schedule on the notice board of Admission Centre and on the official website as well.
