Sameer Kochhar is known to be the face of the IPL, he has been hosting for the Indian Premier League since its very beginning, in 2008. He is once again all geared to host the IPL for the 10th successive year.

When asked about how he felt about the new season of IPL he said, ‘I am back to hosting the IPL matches and he can’t wait to get started with it. He says, “It’s been fantastic to be part of the biggest cricketing tournament. To me, it’s two months of fun and excitement with a lot of traveling from one city to another, interacting with best cricketers from different countries, pack stadiums, having fun with commentators, cheerleaders and Bollywood stars.”

Sameer Kochhar was born on May 23, 1980.

Kochhar was part of Island City directed by Ruchika Oberoi, that received rave reviews at the Venice International Film Festival as well as the JIO MAMI Film Festival 2015 in Mumbai. He will also be seen in Mango Dreams, a feature film set in India, directed by American director John Unchurch.

Kochhar is also part of the CCL (Celebrity Cricket League) team Mumbai Tigers. He is currently hosting the show ‘Extraa Innings T20′ on SET Max.
