The Subscene add-on provides Subtitles in more than 50 languages. It is based on the website Subscene.com which is well known for the quality of its subtitles. New subtitles are added daily even for the newest movies and TV shows. This add-on is highly recommended for subtitles!
Here are the instructions on how to install Subscene:
- Launch Kodi
- Click Add-ons
- Click the Add-on browser icon
- Click Install from repository
- Click Kodi Add-on repository
- Click Subtitles
- Click Subscene.com
- Click Install
- Wait till you see a Add-on installed message
Now the add-on is installed, but you still need to change the configuration in order to use it:
- Go back to the Kodi home page
- Click the Settings icon
- Click Player setting
- Hover over Languages
- Click Preferred subtitle language and select the language you need
- Click Character set and select the language you need
- Click Languages to download subtitles and select the language you need
- Click Default TV show service and select Subscene.com
- Click Default movies service and select Subscene.com
Last thing, in order to see the subtitles when you watch a movies or TV show, do the following:
- Pause what you are watching and click the Subtitles icon
- Click Download
- Select the subtitles source
