Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s anti-BJP ‘United India rally’ has started mobilizing crowds, here on Saturday.CM Banerjee arrives at the Rally. Leaders of different political parties reached Kolkata a day before Mamata’s rally. Many non-NDA parties are going to join this rally.

CM Banerjee will rally with around 20 parties at Brigade Parade ground on Saturday. However, BJD and TRS are the only big parties that will not participate in the rally.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has sent Mallikarjun Kharge and Abhishek Singhvi for the rally. BJP rebels Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha and Arun Shourie are expected to be the part of this rally.

It is to be mentioned that after 41 years, a big crowd of opposition is gathering in Kolkata. On the other hand, BJP has called this rally the fear of opposition.

Sharad Pawar (NCP), Akhilesh Yadav (SP), Satish Mishra (BSP), Chandrababu Naidu (TDP), M K Stalin (DMK), H D Deve Gowda and his son H D Kumaraswamy (JD-S), Mallikarjun Kharge and Abhishek Manu Singhvi (Congress), Arvind Kejriwal (AAP), Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah (National Conference), Tejashwi Yadav (RJD), Hemant Soren (JMM) and Sharad Yadav (Loktantrik Janata Dal)  are among the leaders who have confirmed that they will attend the rally.
