What is die and wafer banking?

What equipment do you use?

Utilizing SmartDRY technology, these cabinets are infused with a volcanic compound called zeolite that can maintain a relative humidity of 0.5 percent, while also allowing for an industry-leading recovery time of less than three minutes. Such a rapid recovery time allows trained EDX assembly specialists to access your inventory up to 10-12 times per hour! Are there any benefits to zeolite compared to nitrogen?
If you have any previous knowledge of die and wafer banking, then you know that traditional dry storage cabinets have used nitrogen to maintain suitable humidity levels. Nitrogen, however, is only capable of maintaining a relative humidity of 6-10 percent. Not only that, but the recovery time of a nitrogen-infused cabinet only allows you to access inventory 2-3 times per hour, which can significantly affect tight production deadlines. In every respect, zeolite is a far superior material for die and wafer banking.
How long can you store die and wafer on a customer’s behalf?
