Life is Strange 2 Release Date Revealed, Begins in September

Dontnod Entertainment has been pretty tight-lipped about the upcoming Sequel to Life is Strange, but now the curtains have been pulled open and a release date announced. Taking to Twitter earlier this morning, the company announced that the first episode of Life is Strange 2 will release later this year, on September 27th. To celebrate the news, a brief teaser trailer was also shown off, which doesn’t reveal much of anything beyond the logo of the game and that Life is Strange 2 will be five episodes in length.

More information about the upcoming sequel will be released in August (likely at Gamescom), but while players will still have to wait for more information on the proper sequel to the 2015 game, they won’t have to wait long to get their hands on its prequel. Announced at E3 2018 and launching for free on Monday, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit will act as a short, standalone prequel to the game that features a younger version of one of the characters that will appear in Life is Strange 2.

While we wait for more information, make sure to let us know below if you’re excited about jumping back into the world of Life is Strange, and what you think the sequel will have in store for players.

The first episode of Life is Strange 2 will launch on September 27, 218.
