Today we’re revealing your very first look at the next playable character, so strap in and learn everything there is to know about Battlerite’s next champion of the arena, Alysia, the Ice Weaver!
Who is Alysia, the Ice Weaver?
From the frozen north comes the ice sculptor Alysia. Her power allows her to wield ice with both grace and deadly precision. She can Damage and freeze her enemies from a distance, while shielding her allies with ice. Obsessed with shapes and form, she left her icy fortress of solitude to seek inspiration in the arena.
As a graceful frost mage that can control the battlefield by chilling and freezing her enemies. She launches a barrage of ice at long range and exerts powerful zone control over the battlefield. Additionally, she can defend herself and her allies with frost shields and sculptures.
Alysia, the Ice Weaver – Attacks and Abilities
If you’re new to the game, Battlerite’s Champions have six basic abilities, two EX abilities, and an ultimate ability. Below you’ll find every attack, ability, and Battlerite the Ice Weaver brings to the arena to chill the competition.
Frost Bolt [Mouse 1]
Projectile attack that deals 15 damage. Deals 2 bonus damage and adds Chill duration to enemies already affected by Chill.
- 0.35 second cast time, 0.3 second cooldown, Energy Gain 7%
Ice Lance [Mouse 2]
Projectile attack that deals 22 damage and inflicts Chill. Deals 8 bonus damage to enemies already affected by Chill.
- 0.7 second cast time, 5 second cooldown, Energy Gain 8%
Arctic Wind [Space]
Soar gracefully to target location.
- 0.1 second cast time, 8 second cooldown
Glacial Prism [Q]
Shield a target ally. Glacial Prism absorbs up to 24 damage for 1.4 seconds. When it breaks or expires, it explodes to inflict Chill on nearby enemies.
- 0.1 second cast time, 9 second cooldown
Flash Freeze [E]
Call down a frozen star at target location. After a 0.9 second delay, it deals 15 damage and inflicts Chill to enemies in the area. Inflicts Freeze instead to enemies already affected by Chill.
- 0.3 second cast time, 9 second cooldown, Energy Gain 5%
Ice Crown [R]
Launch a temporary, fragile sculpture that knocks enemies back and blocks enemy attacks. When it breaks, it launches a cone of icicles that deals 20 damage and inflicts Chill.
- 25 energy cost, 0.2 second cast time, 15 second cooldown
Frozen Gallery [F]
Mark a path of frost in front of you. After a 0.9 second delay, the path deals 35 damage and inflicts Freeze to enemies hit, turning them into beautiful statues.
- 100 energy cost, 0.35 second cast time, 1 second cooldown
Ice Block [EX Q]
Freeze target ally for 3.5 seconds, making them immune to disables and blocking up to 40 damage. They can’t move or use abilities while frozen. Knocks back nearby enemies and inflicts Chill when it expires.
- 25 energy cost, 0.1 second cast time
Snow Cone [EX E]
Channel a cone of snow that deals 16 damage and inflicts Chill over 1.05 seconds. Inflicts Freeze when a target becomes fully Chilled.
- 25 energy cost, 0.4 second cast time
Chill (Debuff)
Target moves up to 25% slower, scaling up with remaining duration. Max duration is 4 seconds.
Freeze (Debuff)
Target gains a shield that absorbs up to 20 damage. Target is immune to chill and is unable to move or use abilities for 3 seconds. This effect breaks when the shield breaks.
Alysia, the Ice Weaver – Battlerites
In addition to Alysia’s base kit, each round you’ll choose Battlerites which alter and empower your existing abilities.
Frozen Muse (Frost Bolt)
Whenever you inflict Freeze, your Frost Bolts are empowered for 3 seconds. They deal 4 bonus damage and inflict Chill even on targets without Chill.
Splintering Lance (Ice Lance)
Ice Lance explodes when it hits or reaches max distance, inflicting Chill for 2 seconds on nearby enemies.
Ice Breaker (Ice Lance)
Ice Lance deals 4 bonus damage and breaks Freeze before dealing damage.
Frost Nova (Arctic Wind)
Arctic Wind blasts nearby enemies with a frost nova as you leap, inflicting Chill for 1.6 seconds.
Twirl (Arctic Wind)
Recast Arctic Wind to perform a short leap.
Figure Skating (Glacial Prism)
Glacial Prism grants the target a 70% Fading Haste for 1.4 seconds.
Cryotherapy (Glacial Prism)
Glacial Prism heals for 10 health over the duration.
Crystalline Lattice (Glacial Prism)
Glacial Prism absorbs up to 12 more damage and its explosion range reaches 20% further.
Snowstorm (Flash Freeze)
Flash Freeze leaves a snowstorm at target location, dealing 12 damage and inflicting Chill over 0.9 seconds. The damage affects targets with Freeze directly.
Blizzard (Flash Freeze)
The radius of Flash Freeze is increased by 20% and cooldown is reduced by 1 second.
Vandalism (Ice Crown)
You can break your own ice crown instantly with a single Frost Bolt.
Permafrost (Frozen Gallery)
Frozen Gallery inflicts Chill for 4 seconds to all enemies in the area after cast and Freeze is increased from 3 seconds to 4 seconds.
Agility (Perk)
Increases movement speed by 10%.
Inspiration (Perk)
Increases your maximum energy by 25% and energy gained from abilities is increased by 10%.
