Currently, Uefa has announced the top 10 Player of the Year nominees which make up the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award 2017 list. According to the list, only one Premier League player makes the cut. On the list, Ibrahimovic was ranked 10th and was headed by Gianluigi Buffon, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Only those top three players can now win the coveted UEFA Best Player in Europe Award 2017 which will be presented in Monaco on Thursday August 24.

Also in the list include Ronaldo’s Real Madrid team-mates Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos all narrowly missed out on a place in the top three.
