The team behind CryptoZombies, a site devoted to instructing people how to encode Ethereum DApps starts the world’s first collection of card game on a blockchain. To raise funds for game development, the team decides to go with Kickstarter instead of an ICO.
The company hopes to raise 250,000 million dollars with its advertising campaign, which will last for 60 days.
Those wishing to participate can choose one of the fifteen rewards, with contributions varying from 10 to 10,000 USD. At the deepest levels, supporters will mostly receive exclusive updates, booster packs, unique cards and beta invites them and their friends.
Once the commitments exceed the 1,000 USD threshold, rewards include T-shirts, Zombie Battleground physical cards, Contributor-based zombie cards, Zombie miniature statues and even a trip to Thailand for a team night.
All prizes are available to anyone in the world and are expected to be delivered as of May 2019. The campaign also includes two stretch goals if it reaches 275,000 USD, all supporters will receive two rare cards, and if they reach 300,000 USD, the new adventure will be added to the final game.
The team thinks that Zombie Battleground will be the first Ethereum experience for many users around the world and players will enjoy playing for what it is, no matter where they are.
