In verification process it is done by reading the documents manually.
In verification detection of the origin of the defect easier than finding the defect in validation phase and fixing of the defect costs less in verification phase than validation phase.V model verification and validation both takes place that's why it is know as V model.
In verification process it is done at the starting of the development process there are three processes of verification.
They are as follows..
1. Walk through
2. Inspection
3. Review
Lets explain each of them one by one.
1. Walk through : while explaining walk through there are some characteristics which needs to be keep in mind i.e
1. It is not a formal process.
2. It is led by the author.
3. In this process the prepared document is given to the caleuge and the caleuge gives the feed back and as per the feedback necessary explanation is given if required.

2. Inspection : Lets know the characteristic while doing inspection.

4. In this group of people are there who examine the product.
5. In separate prepareton the product is examined and the defect are found.
6. The defects found are documented in logging list or in issue log.
7. for exit criteria follow up is done.

It improves quality of product.
It is useful in exchanging information.
It is helpful in resolving the defects.
3. Review : There are below mentioned characteristics of Review.
1. It is less formal review.
2. It is done by moderator but can also be done by domain expert.
3. It is often performed as a group review without management particiaption.
4. Here defects are found by the experts they focus on the contents of the document.
Goals of review are:
It is done earlier to check that the technical concepts are properly used properly or not.
To access the alternative values of a product.
It is basically regarding the technical concept only here participants are informed regarding the technical content of the document.
