Text- Proverbs 4:18 – “But the Path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day”
Beloved, I have brought good news for you today. It can only get better from here! I want you to take a good look at your life today, and say to yourself, “It can only get better from here”
There is something about the path of a just man – it keeps getting better and better! The path of the just is as the shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day.
You know, I have heard people say, “It’s going to get worse before it gets better”. But I beg to disagree with this notion. Statements like this can heighten your hopes, but it can kill your Faith if you are not careful.
Hope is passive, whereas faith is active. Faith is what gives substance to your hope. Hope talks about possibilities; faith talks about assurance!
When you have hope, you know it is possible for things to be better, but faith adds substance to that hope. It gives you the assurance that things will surely become better.
The Bible assures us that even if things seem to be at their worst possible state now; it can only get better from here!
Let me draw some inference from 1 John 3:2-
“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is”
Allow me to rephrase that verse – “Now, we are (insert whatever is going on in your life right now)… and we cannot clearly say what the future will look like, but we know that things can only get better from here!”
I want you to rest assured in God’s word. However, you must pay attention to your life. Make sure you are a just man. Then, you can beat your chest and boldly say, “Things can only get better from here”
Do not lose faith beloved; do not faint. Don’t be weary; don’t give in; don’t bac out. You are more than a conqueror. You will surely overcome!
Always remember, “It can only get better from here”. Shalom!
PRAYER
Father, than you for your promises that assure me that things can only get better from here. Please grant me grace, and increase my faith as I approach the future armed with these precious promises.
