Wow! Six hundred United Methodist clergy and laity are bringing charges against Jeff Sessions for violating portions of the United Methodist Book of Discipline. If more churches had been willing to sustain charges against slaveowners and segregationists, then we might have a much more racially just church in America. --------------------- "As his denomination, we have an ethical obligation to speak boldly when one of our members is engaged in causing significant harm in matters contrary to the Discipline on the global stage."
