Marvin Sapp is a contemporary Christian/Gospel artist originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. After spending 5 years in the Gospel group 'Commissioned', Sapp went on to pursue a record breaking solo career starting in 1996.
He's one of my husband favorite gospel artists, and has crafted his own signature sound involving R&B elements, gospel chord progressions, funky bass lines, and energetic beats. His music is definitely uplifting to listen to, and if you ever need a reminder about the goodness of God no matter life's challenges, I highly recommend Marvin Sapp for some good ol' praise & worship.
