“Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every Promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” Joshua 23:14 (NIV)
After Moses lead the people of Israel to the border of the Promised Land, Joshua succeeded Moses and became their leader. He led the people as they took possession of the land promised to them by God. Under Joshua's leadership the promised land and so many more promises given to the people were fulfilled by God. The people had lived for many years under Joshua’s leadership and under God’s blessings. Joshua reminds them that God was faithful in every promise He made. God keeps His promises to us too. If you have depended on Him to keep His promises to you I'm sure you have experienced His faithfulness. So why not thank God for keeping His promises to you? As Joshua said then, you can say now, “every promise has been fulfilled, not one has failed.”
