Advaita Vedanta Sutra today: Chandogya Upanishad 8.7.1

The Self which has no sin, no decrepitude,

no death, no sorrow, no hunger, no thirst,

has unfailing desires, unfailing will-

that has to be known.

That has to be enquired into.

He who, after knowing the self realizes it,

attains all the world and all the desires..

Chandogya Upanishad 8.7.1

~

An evocative Sutra from the Chandogya Upanishad extolling the Self, or the Brahman within us. This Self is all powerful, and it is free from all imperfections. The Self is all prevailing, and the person who realizes the Self can also become all prevailing.
