John 3:16

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (KJV).

For God( God the father; Yes it is true that Jesus Christ Loves the world(humanity) but the God who is being referred here is God the father, and the verses following makes this clearer). So loved( has the greatest amount of love possible). The World ( humanity). That he gave( which literally means that God the father "sent" Jesus Christ into the world to be the savior of the world, so that the world may have one last chance of actually having a relationship with him. There were other instances of God trying to return humanity to him. But sending Christ into the world was the greatest and will always remain as the greatest attempt yet. God does not desire that anyone should be lost (1 Timothy 2:3-4) but it is not everyone who will accept his greatest attempt ever. ) his only begotten Son(Jesus Christ; The only one who was and is like God the father in every way. This is why Christ is still called the son of God. God the Father and Christ the son are of the same nature or spirit. This why Christ made this statement which was that he is in the Father and the Father is in him (John 14:11)). That whosoever believeth in him ( accepts him as lord and savior over their lives). should not perish( face eternal Judgment ). but have everlasting life (Have life in which death would no longer effect them).

Are we not glad for the love of God. Hallelujah for the love of God.

May God Bless You
