—Ezekiel 36:24-27

24 " 'For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws (NIV).

These old Testament verses are complete pictures of the changes that God will do in the lives of all of those who accepts his son. In these same verses we also see the Explanation of what shall take place as the nation of Israel is being restored in God. These verses are primarily dealing with The Restoration of the nation of Israel. Everything that is told about the adventure in Christ of a believer shall happen to the nation of Israel.

There are changes that are made in our lives when we find The Lord.
Oh How wonderful is God and the changes that he will make in our lives.


24 " 'For I will take you out of the nations (God will take you out of the things of the world. In other words God will take you away from living the life of those that are without him [The Heathens or The wicked] ). I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land (That is a picture of God putting us into his church or the Body of Christ) After you have been added to the Body of Christ there are other things that takes place. I would like for you to pay close attention to these things. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you (This particular part of the verse pictures the baptism of water) you will be clean (through the Baptism of water one is clean in the eyes of God from all of their pass sins (Acts 2:38) As a believer finds God, God desires for there to be a completely new beginning in their lives, and this begins by a believer being Baptized). I will cleanse you from all your impurities(sins) and from all your idols (God will take you away from the things of the world. God will take you away the former God's or God that you use to serve(from serving the Devil). I will give you a new heart ( the giving away of a new heart pictures the giving of a new spirit. God shall give you a new spirit as a believer. A spirit that is according to his will. This will be done through the listening and reading of his word). And put a new spirit in you (That's the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). When one receives the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, The Spirit of God is added unto this person's life. It is up to this person whether or not the Holy Spirit grows or decreases in their Life. Whether the Holy Spirit grows or decreases depends on whether or not you continue to live according to his word). I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh(This is a great statement showing the differences that will be made in the life of a believer in God. These changes will not be forced upon but will happen gradually as a believer draws closer to God. Notice the fact that a stone is hard and flesh is soft. God is referring to the fact that he will put in you his love; the love of god. Which means that you will LOVE not only yourself but GOD and your NEIGHBORS. So the believer goes from a heart full of hatred to a heart full of love). And I will put my Spirit (Holy Spirit) in you and move you (Help you) to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws (That's the purpose of having the Holy Spirit in our lives; The Holy Spirit is there to lead you unto all truth's (John 16:12-15. We are being led into all truth when God is opening up our understanding concerning his word. There is no one that will Truly Understand the word of God and Yet sin easily or even sin at all. There is a difference between Knowing God and Understanding God. The Holy Spirit is there to allow you to Understand God and his expectations of you. By Truly understand God that will lead you to being Righteous in the eyes of God. By having the Holy Spirit you will also know that God is willing to Help you live according to his word but it is up to you on whether or not this happens ).
