Donald Trump has taken his campaign to Ohio where he said that the homicide rate in Baltimore is significantly higher than in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala
The battle for the White House has started in earnest as the President lambasted the Democrats during his campaign tour of Ohio. While the Opposition are still undecided about who their flag bearer should be, President Trump has been tearing them apart, questioning their ability to do what is right for Americans.
Hear the President, “We have spent billions and billions for years and years and its stolen money and its wasted money and it’s a shame. The Democrat record is one of corruption and neglect and decay, total decay. Five hundred and seventy-two people were murdered in Chicago last year.”
There is no doubt that Trump's rhetoric will galvanise his base. However, he may need to appeal to voters outside his base in order to make life less difficult for himself especially now that most people see him as a racist.
There is no doubt that the President is strong, has a thick skin and the economy is doing well.
