More Dr. Hugh Ross

As you’ve probably noticed, I am a fan of Dr. Hugh Ross. I also find that the scientific information that is increasingly becoming available is extremely interesting. I personally am an advocate of Old Age Creationism.

Hugh Norman Ross (born July 24, 1945) is a Canadian astrophysicist, Christian apologist, and old Earth creationist.

Dr. Ross obtained his Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of Toronto and his B.Sc. degree in physics from the University of British Columbia.  He is known for establishing his own ministry in 1986, called Reasons to Believe that promotes progressive and day-age forms of old Earth creationism. Ross accepts the scientific age of the earth and the scientific age of the universe, however he rejects unguided evolution and abiogenesis as explanations for the history and origin of life.

Recently I reposted an excellent post put out by Faithful Thinkers which I called: Old Earth Creationism Roadmap The original post by Faithful Thinkers was The Top 5 Books on the Bible, Creation and Science If you haven’t had an opportunity to go over the book reviews yet, I would encourage you to do so.

Actually there are 6 books that are reviewed and 3 of them are authored by Dr. Ross.

They are:

  1. Navigating Genesis
  2. A Matter of Days and
  3. Improbable Planet

Just in case you don’t have the time to go over the book reviews, or read the actual books, on YouTube you can find videos where Dr. Ross goes over these particular books in detail that he has authored. For your viewing and listening convenience I shall provide the links for them below:

If you are not familiar with Young Earth or Old Earth Creationism, where there are acknowledged differing points of view, and you are interested in exploring it further, I do have a post entitled Old Earth Versus Young Earth Creationism that you may find helpful.

Worthy is the Lamb! Blessings!
