What Can David Makuyu Do For You?

I Can Unlock Value From Your Website…

Does that sound exciting?

It should, because the truth is that a number of websites are simply static and not generating real value for their intended audience.

It’s time to change that.

See how I do that below….

1. Comprehensive Site Audit

You need a mobile responsive website that will work as hard as you do to generate value for you.

So the first place to get started is your current website.

Just like any car, after a while your website gets cranky and some things get out of joint.

via GIPHY

That’s where a site audit comes in.

Contrary to perception, a site audit is not about showing you what is wrong, but what needs to be tuned up to optimize performance.

There are a variety of tasks that fall under a proper site audit.

Let’s take a site map for example…

I would check to see if you have built a proper site map and whether it’s been submitted to search engines, like Google, Bing and Yandex.

You would be amazed at how many people haven’t done this!

Broken links is another example…

Any sign of these and Google will drop your rankings like a bad egg.

It’s part of what’s defined as a bad user experience.

No one wants to click on a link that takes them to this page like this…

Maybe, if it’s as cute as this, you wouldn’t mind terribly…

But the truth is many broken links are considered a bad user experience.

I check under the hood for broken links and fix them.

Internal linking is another biggie.

An internal link is one like this where I share about my free professional websites for Charities. or I link you straight to my booking page…

An internal link links to an internal page on my website.

By linking to all internal pages or blog posts, I ensure that search engine spiders discover these pages and index them. The pages also get important link juice.

That’s just a fancy digital marketer’s term for spreading domain authority to those pages.

In your case, I improve your internal linking so that new and ‘hidden’ pages get the link juice they deserve.

(This also helps search engine spiders discover these pages and index them, leading to higher rankings.)

Another key task in a site audit is your SSL certificate.

If you don’t have a SSL certificate, you will suffer low rankings.

Google indicated SSL as a major ranking signal, so you better make plans to get an SSL certificate installed on your site.

If you have trouble doing this, talk to me and I’ll provide you a solution.

By doing a comprehensive site audit, you can improve your website’s performance & rankings tremendously.

2. Content

We write long form blog content on your behalf.

Our content averages 2,700 words per post.

This post for example comes in at a monster 3,173 words.

That’s because Google loves long form content.

A 3,000 word blog post has more chance of ranking at the top of search engines for your preferred keyword than a 200 word post.

But not everybody can create a 3,000 word article every week.

I understand that struggle. For a long time, I was like that. It was a headache writing up a 1,000 word post.

To top it up, it’s even worse when you can’t think up enough ideas to write 10 articles, leave alone one.

If that describes you, you’re not alone.

In fact, 60% of B2B content marketers say producing engaging content is their biggest challenge.

A whopping 72% of surveyed marketers say less than half of their marketing staff play a primary role in content marketing.

Yet, content marketing is your most effective Lead Generation strategy.

Developing content helps you maintain a strong relationship with existing customers who are more likely to buy than new prospects.

And it’s more cost effective. Content marketing costs 62% less than traditional marketing and generates about 3 times as many leads.

Content marketing is now your most effective lead generation strategy.

Thankfully, I’ve been doing content creation for some years now.

That has helped me refine my skill and broadened my pool of topic ideas in various niches.

The best part of it is that now that I know what makes great content, I can now delegate the task to more experienced writers who love writing about everything under the sun.

I therefore know what kind of content will get you ranked.

My team of writers will work on your behalf writing in-depth blog posts that boost your profile, presence and ranking.

The best part of it? You own the content rights, 100%.

If you already have content, we give it a quick scan to see if we improve it.

We also go over your best performing content, and see of we can boost its ‘Wakanda’ power even more by adding more content that’s rich in the latest statistics, improved data, better visuals in a bid to attract more eyeballs and subsequently more links.

via GIPHY

The truth is that content is the foundation of your website.

With GREAT content, you now have the ammunition to fully unlock the potential of your website.

3. Integrated Digital Marketing Campaign

We offer you an Integrated Digital Marketing campaign.

That means we oversee your current digital efforts to see what you want to achieve and how well it’s working right now.

We then give you a recommendation on the areas that you should fix to improve results.

I like to ask, “What’s the one thing you can do today that will move the bus?”

In other words, you could be spreading your efforts far and wide in search of more traffic, more social media presence, more conversion, and in the process getting stressed, fatigued and frustrated at minimal results.

In most cases, there is one thing you can do that will get you an 80% return on effort. If you find this one thing, then you save yourself time and wasted effort.

We explore that puzzle, working alongside you to uncover that secret.

Then we work backwards with that end in sight. Integration with your other digital tasks then smoothly falls in.

By integration, we’re talking backlinking, content creation, content marketing, SEO, brand promotion, events and conferences, social media and much more.

4. Linkbuilding

Linkbuilding is by far the most important action you must take to snap up that #1 listing on Google.

And we’re talking proper high authority links from high authority, established websites in your niche.

Getting even one link is a tough call. But it’s possible.

It requires a smart strategy, lots of outreach and lots of super epic Wakanda-like content.
If your content is top notch, then it will naturally attract links.

That’s your objective.

There are other strategies to build links.

We’re talking the skyscraper technique, infographics, Email outreach, content marketing on Medium, Hubpages, LinkedIn Pulse, guestposting and much more.

Linkbuilding is a campaign all on its own. If this is your biggest need, get in touch with us. We have custom solutions that work for you.

5. Is Your Website Mobile-Responsive?

We check to see your website is mobile responsive.

It’s now official that mobile responsive websites rank higher than non mobile responsive websites.

Mobile responsiveness refers to the ability of your website to adjust to the dimensions of the device that your browser is using to access your website.

So if your browser is using a mobile phone, your website should be able to load fast and within the dimensions of your smartphone without bleeding off the edges.

Now that most people access the internet via their smartphones, this is a critical ranking factor.

It can make or break your content marketing efforts too.

If a visitor tries to load your website and they can’t see your website properly or images are spilling off the page, they get irritated and chances are, they’ll never return to your site again.

Here’s a test to see if your website scores a big High 5 on mobile responsiveness.

6. Site Design

We check your current website for design and layout optimization.

What do we mean by that?

At first glance, your website should be attractive.

It should be easy to navigate too.

If your home page is cluttered with tons of banners, ads, flash images that don’t load fast and broken text, you’re doomed.
Chances are, your visitor will be distracted, and move along quickly. Your website is too busy.

On the other hand, if your website has a clear call to action, and easy to navigate, pleasant on the eye and with a clear call to action, then your visitors will stay on your page for longer.

7. SEO Optimization

We check your current website for design and layout optimization.
What do we mean by that?

At first glance, your website should be attractive, pleasing to look at, and easy to navigate.

If your home page is cluttered with tons of banners, ads, flash images that don’t load fast, and broken text, you’re doomed.

Chances are, your visitor will be distracted, and move along quickly.

Your website is too busy.

On the other hand, if your website has a clear call to action, and easy to navigate, pleasant on the eye and with a clear call to action, then your visitors will stay on your page for longer.

8.  Time Spent Browsing (TSB)

Time spent browsing (TSB) is a signal to Google that your readers love your website.

That is a significant ranking signal.

You need to work towards that goal.

9. We can offer you an integrated Social Media Amplification solution.

This is what we mean.

Your visitors spend most of their time on either Facebook or Instagram.

That’s great. We all know that.

But here is where it get more exciting… the reason behind why they spend so much time on those channels.

It’s a strong psychological reason, it’s that strong social bond we all seek that makes the difference.

In social media marketing, there’s a way to leverage that insight in a way that separates the crowd from the experts.

Hint: It’s about your face.

Posts showing your human faces do better than just random images or graphic designed posts.

We put some sparkle into social media marketing.

In simple words… People want to see your face. A million times. Ask Kim Kardashian.

What we do is put some sparkle into the whole concept.

Rather than twisting around on your seat and hitting “click” for the selfie, we develop an entire photo shoot around this concept.

We combine that with a video shoot as well. At the end of it all, you get visual posts that people will want to look at,admire and share.

Take-Out: You should be incorporating more pictures of yourself, and your staff in your element if you really want to get ahead.

For more details, ask for a proposal.

10. Lead Generation

Here are some statistics that will get you excited about lead Generation.

  • 68% of B2B businesses use landing pages to acquire leads.
  • Email marketing (78%), event marketing (73%, and content marketing (67%) are the three most commonly used B2B lead generation strategies.
  • B2B software marketers rely on organic search, SEM/PPC advertising, and word of mouth referrals, as their top sources of new business.

There’s more….

85% of B2B marketers say lead generation is their most important content marketing goal.

What do we mean by lead generation in the first place?

Lead generation is the process of stimulating and capturing interest in a product or service for the purpose of developing sales pipeline.

A lead generation page is also known as a landing page.

Say, someone is searching for a phrase on Google and they land on your website.

They like what they see.

And then they navigate away from your site…

Gone forever.

And you have no idea who they are, why they visited you and where they come from.

(Unless you use Google Analytics on your website of course…)

But if you don’t have something, like a gift, incentive or exciting content to offer your visitor when they land on your website, you’ve lost a gilt-edged opportunity.

Somehow, as they enjoy the fabulous content on your website, you need to ask them for their email address, in exchange for some valuable gift.

Perhaps, you could offer them exclusive membership into your gated community where you share your most valuable content, insights and special offers.

Alternatively, offer them a prize, gift, or a free ebook.

This way, you capture their email address and you can begin the process of getting to know vital details about them.

In my case, my lead capture page is my web design booking form.

I know someone has landed on my site because they are searching for a web designer. They want options. But I need to know more details about them, like:

  • Who are they?
  • What kind of website are they looking for?
  • Why do they need a website?
  • What’s the website supposed to achieve?

To get this information, you need to set up a lead generation page.

For a lead generation page to really work, you need to set it up properly.

The headline and subtitle must be straight to the point. It should make good use of contrasting colors to focus your attention on the form and it should place an emphasis on the benefits, with brief descriptions, without taking up too much space.

A lead generation page looks like this….

At first glance, it’s simple, straight to the point and concise.

If I saw this page,I would be compelled to sign up for the offer.

It’s only then that I can begin building a relationship with my subscriber base and adequately respond to their needs, and eventually turn it into a sale.

Luckily for you, we build a number of targeted lead generation pages.

Your lead generation page is the foundation for your email marketing sequence to really kick in.

11. Email Funnel

What do we mean by an email funnel?
An email funnel is a series of emails, written and scheduled in advance and published at intervals to every web visitor that opts in using your lead generation page.

Call it email marketing.

Second to your website, you need to spend most time on your email funnel.

The first thing you need to do when a visitor visits your website is capture their email address.

Otherwise, they get up and leave as quickly as they came, and you won’t ever know who they are, why they visited you and what they wanted.

When you write and format your email series at the very beginning of your blogging journey, you don’t have to stress about thinking about what to write to your 21,000 subscriber list every three days.

It’s all set up automatically.

You also don’t need to worry about ’email block’ where you stare at your computer wondering what to write about.

You can even set up multiple email funnels to target different subscribers.
Brilliant isn’t it?

This email funnel is important because you are constantly building your value and authority with your tribe. These are the people who will buy from you.

Most internet marketers will tell you building an email list is your most important priority. In fact, they concentrate on feeding all their valuable content, offers and incentives through an email funnel.

There’s a reason they do that.

The money is in the email list.
The relationship is also in the email list.

By offering your web visitors an incentive like a free ebook, course or product, in exchange for their email, you begin a relationship with your new friend.

You get to know who your visitor is, what they do, and why they landed to your site.

In other words, you’re building intelligence about your target audience.

They offered you their email address. You need to be loyal to that.

Any time you use it, make sure you are delivering valuable content.

This is where you now begin to build real value from your website and generate revenue.

Thankfully, there are many good email providers in the market that can help you get started without too much sweat.

Choose between Aweber, Get Response or Mailchimp.

Unless you have a really big email list, I suggest you start with Mailchimp until you begin generating revenue from your list, then you can either stay with Mailchimp or migrate to another service.

I personally prefer GetReponse.

12. Revenue Generation

We build various revenue generation systems that suit your mode of business.

Not all systems work for you.

You need to know what ticks for you and maximize your efforts to reap full benefit from this revenue model.

We come in to show you how to set up various revenue generation models for your website. We then guide you in testing and working it until you can rely on it.

Perhaps you’re the type who wants to make money from Adsense, or maybe through sponsored posts (like Facebook).

Maybe, you want to set up a WooCommerce shop, or sell courses, eBooks or run an online academy like me.

Whichever option you prefer, we will can set up the system for you.

In case you don’t know what products to sell for your online store, we have a list of the top 100 products to sell online. We’ll show you which ones work, which ones don’t and why.
