Sadly, I have not blogged since late August. Life has been full of -- well, life! My ideas for things to write about and consider increase daily, but my time for writing them does not, unfortunately. PLUS, I have been a bit preoccupied by the presence of a person in my life who was not there before the Summer. Back on June 11 (4 months ago today!) I met a wonderful man, Kevin Morton, who I am now proud to introduce as my fiance! We have been engaged for one week as of today, and I am thrilled with all that we add to each other's lives. Kevin is an amazing man who astounds me daily with his love for me and my boys; the way he rises to the occasion whenever he is needed; and the smile on his face when he sees me. Oh, and the dimples too. ;)

We are planning to get married on February 25, and I just don't think it will come soon enough! It's fun to think of planning a wedding now. Being the second marriage for both of us, we know what we want and don't want. Basically, we want to do everything different, and all of it very significant. We don't want to use tradition for tradition's sake. Also, this wedding is going to be extremely low-budget. Extremely. This really doesn't bother me in the slightest because there are a plethora of goodwills for me to shop in. ;) But I would LOVE to hear from any of you who might have some really creative ideas for making this low-budget wedding extra-special. Well, it's going to be special anyway, but you know what I mean. I'll be shopping for silk flowers after Christmas and making all of our arrangements/corsages/bouquets/etc. Any thoughts on colors?
