So perhaps we can consider the song that would be appropriate to a breakup, with an eye towards who is doing the breakationing…. a clark (yeah, right), a scott (no! they wouldn’t!) or a roger (and yes, they do expect you to thank them!)

…yes, clarks do break up with people, but for what it’s worth, we don’t enjoy it (well, we don’t most of the time!)
