It happened again. One wrong comment elicited a negative reaction from her, leading to a full-blown argument. After having the door slammed in your face, you sadly turned away and reassure yourself that fighting is normal in a Relationship and these quarrels can be a means of expressing each other’s feelings. But, are they?

Although fighting can facilitate the expression of one’s thoughts or feelings, it doesn’t mean that having a lot of quarrels can nurture your relationship. With all the negative energies that you throw at each other, the two of you are bound accumulate a lot of painful memories that can make the relationship aversive. This will, of course, push the two of you to leave each other in order to find a more peaceful relationship. In order to avoid this, you should steer clear of these relationship mistakes that can cause trouble in paradise.

Opening Your Mouth Without Thinking
It’s true that you should be able to tell your partner everything. But, this doesn’t mean that you do not have to protect your partner from words that can potentially hurt her. Women can be very sensitive. And, most of the time, you might not even understand what triggered her to be angry. For this reason, you should pay attention to the things that you say that cause her to react negatively. Most of the time, women don’t immediately blow up. So, you should watch out for facial expressions that say that you are entering dangerous waters.

Not Asking Her About Her Feelings
Communication is very important in a relationship. It’s really difficult to understand why women blow up so be attentive to her feelings. Don’t pretend that you know what she is feeling when you really don’t have a clue. You have a bigger chance of saying more wrong things if you do that. Instead, make her understand that you really do not know what you’ve done wrong. Try to make her talk about the reason why she is angry. The worst thing that you can do is make her feel that she is being irrational. That is synonymous to telling her that she doesn’t have the right to be angry.

Express Yourself Properly
Keeping the peace doesn’t mean that you should keep mum when it comes to your own feelings. This, however, doesn’t mean that you should make her more furious by putting the blame on her. When you talk about your feelings, make sure that you make it clear that you are merely voicing out how her reaction has affected you.

Not Settling The Issue
Fights do happen but this doesn’t mean that you need to fight in order to strengthen your relationship. Recurring fights that happen because of the same issues can sap the romance of any relationship. For one thing, your partner will feel that you really do not have the ability to understand her and that you will just keep on repeating the same mistakes that hurt her. For this reason, whenever you have fight, make sure that you will end it by identifying the issue that caused it and find ways not to stop that issue from causing more quarrels in the future.

By paying attention to these points, you can avoid fights and lengthen your relationship.
