If a girl wants to feel beautiful, then many guys will make her feel beautiful if there is a payoff for them. I know this is not exactly what you want to hear but in some situations this is the truth. Many guys will tell women that she is beautiful in order to get them into bed.

The best advice that I have for you is to really look at the context, and the guy saying it. If it is someone you have not known for very long, then you may want to consider what his intentions may be. However if it is a long term boyfriend and you really have made an effort to look good, then you can consider it to be sincere.

All guys are different and unique and some guys really do have more confidence than others. Often when a guy tells you that you are beautiful it may just be because he means it and thinks it. If your boyfriend tells you that you are beautiful, then the chances are high he is telling you that you are beautiful because he really believes it. Instead of always reading too much into it (admit it you girls do that a lot), rather take it as a Compliment and enjoy it.

Instead of trying to find reasons why he must be being dishonest, rather take the compliment. Start to believe him and enjoy the fact that he really does think you are truly beautiful. Enjoy the fact that you have a guy in your life who thinks that you are beautiful because I can promise you that many girls all over the world from all different walks of life of all ages would love to be in your shoes right now.

Even if you are someone who finds it difficult to take a compliment, let me give you a piece of advice which is to try hard to work on that. When the compliment comes from a guy’s heart, it would be best to really acknowledge his kind words instead of not receiving the compliment well. After all you want him to say it again and mean it when he says it.

Give him the benefit of the doubt

Unless the guy telling you that you are beautiful has an obvious hidden agenda or motive, give the guy the benefit of the doubt and believe him. If your boyfriend tells you that you are beautiful and he is an honest guy, then the best thing that you can do is to believe that he really means it. There are many girls who date guys for years on end and the guy never ever will tell them that they are beautiful. These are words that many girls long to hear, so if it is being said to you, appreciate it and be happy. I know it may be difficult to fully appreciate it but I am telling you from a guy’s perspective, to really consider how lucky you are. Not only do you have a guy that is fully committed to you and only you but he is also expressing to you, how attractive you and that is a really positive thing.

Try to appreciate his honesty and where he is coming from. If you make an effort with your appearance and your boyfriend genuinely tells you how beautiful you look, then take it from me when I tell you that you are one of the lucky ones. There are many guys out there who do not notice when a girl changes her appearance or when she makes an effort.

I have many female friends who tell me all the time how frustrating it is when a guy doesn’t notice the effort that has been made, especially when the effort with their appearance is for the guy. Count your blessings and your lucky stars because you are one of the lucky ones.
