Cue Deeper Roots, one of Cincinnati’s biggest coffee roasters and most popular brands. Since 2012, they’ve been cultivating a coffee culture in Cincinnati with a goal of treating people humanely and removing the veil of the coffee trade.

We sat down for an interview with lead roaster and coffee-buyer Adam Shaw to talk about coffee, farmers and what exactly it means to be “fair-trade.”
