A Guide to Eat Jersey

Eat Jersey is designed to show off my expertise in the Restaurant industry and help others understand how to truly eat well. I’m qualified as a journalism student who’s been working and living in the restaurant world for quite a long time. My family owns a restaurant and catering hall, which I’ve worked in as a hostess, server, receptionist and coat check for almost 10 years. Even as a young child, my dad would pick me up after school and bring me to his office, where I would fold napkins or help him get food ready to serve in the kitchen.

The purpose of this blog is to help you find the best restaurants in New Jersey. How will I do that? By giving you a scale of 1-5 for each restaurant I review for cleanliness, food and service, 1 being poor and 5 being excellent. A 2 is not the worst, but wouldn’t return. A 3 is ok and probably would return, but wouldn’t have to. A 4 is pretty good, somewhere you would want to go back to. And a 5 is a food experience that makes you wish you had five stomachs, just so you could continue eating there.

In addition, I’ll be posting about food trends, restaurant news, etc. as editorials and a few personal experiences I’ve had in my years working in restaurants.
