Oreo being a relatively US thing hasn't...
For the longest time Oreo's were only available through online stores here in Oz, you might see them in an inport shop or two. Again not widely available.

It's only been in the last few years that they have shown up in the likes of Coles or Woolworths supermarkets and not generally taking up much space with the other local competition...
