Stauffer TYPE OF ACCIDENT: Auto / Pedestrian LOCATION OF ACCIDENT: South Palm Avenue at East Wyoming Avenue DATE OF ACCIDENT: 03/26/2017 TIME: 9:35 pm EVENT #: 170326­3603 Number: 1 Driver: Bernal, Ramon Injury: None Address: Las Vegas, NV Age: 33 Male Vehicle Information: 2004 Chevrolet Pickup Truck Number: 2 Pedestrian: Quintanilla, Mario Injury: Critical Address: Las Vegas, NV Age: 62 COLLISION DETAILS: On March 26, 2017 at approximately 9:35 pm, an Auto vs Pedestrian traffic collision occurred at the intersection of South Palm Avenue and East Wyoming Avenue. Evidence at the scene indicated a male pedestrian was walking west across Palm Avenue at the intersection with Wyoming Avenue when he was impacted by a southbound Chevrolet Pickup truck. The pedestrian was projected forward to the roadway and the operator of the Chevrolet brought the vehicle to a stop and notified the police of the collision. The pedestrian was transported to Sunrise Hospital by emergency medical services with critical injuries and the operator of the Chevrolet was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and was booked into the Clark County Detention Center. This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.
