Gravand och stare, ni tänker kanske, vad har de gemensamt? Inte mycket, inte mer än att bägge fåglarna behöver äta mat som alla levande djur och fåglar behöver. Idag var jag på en fotorunda, första anhalten blev Hercules där jag var igår. Hoppades såklart att skäggdoppingens ägg hade kläckts, men inte. Därefter gick färden till Äspet med våtmarkerna som torkat ut jättemycket. Jag hoppades att få se vadarfåglar, men där var inga. Däremot var där många starar, några fåglar jag alltid haft svårt att fotografera. Visserligen var de rät långt borta från fågeltornet jag stod i, men några hyfsade bilder fick jag.

Där var många vitkindade gäss, säkert ungfåglar som inte bildat par än. När jag tittade över våtmarkerna såg jag två gravänder, sist jag var där fanns det många av dem. Men eftersom våtmarkerna torkat ut mycket har de flyttat, precis som skärfläckorna som inte fanns där. Här är några foton på stararna som letade mat och de fina gravänderna.

Shelduck and starling, you may think, what they have in common? Not much, no more than two birds need to eat food that all living animals and birds need. Today I was on a Photo round, the first stop was Hercules where I was yesterday. Was hoping of course that great crested grebe´s eggs had hatched, but not. Then the journey went to Aspet with the wetlands that dried out very much. I was hoping to see wading birds, but there were none. On the other hand, there were many starlings, some birds I always had difficulty photographing. Certainly they were far away from the Bird tower I was in, but I received some pretty good pictures.

There were many barnacle geese, surely young birds that did not form couples yet. As I looked over the wetlands, I saw two shelducks, last time there were many of them. But because wetlands have dried out a lot, they have moved, just like the Pied avocet that were not there. Here are some photos of the starlings who were looking for food and the beautiful shelducks.
