I love working for New York Knitwear Designer Label and Thread!  They create beautiful sweaters, scarves and hats, are really great with styling the looks, book great models, and are really fun to work with.  We always use Andrea Wilson of Next Artists for hair and makeup. Andrea is extremely talented and a blast to work with. Her energy keeps the set jumping and her attention to detail makes sure each look is flawless. This season the client booked Dutch model Romy de Grijff from Wilhelmina NY. Romy is a stunning woman and a pleasure to work with.  She made my job extremely easy.

The day started off similar to most.  I arrived at the studio early to start setting up.  I like to be ready to shoot when the client arrives.  This way I am free to spend time helping the client with what they need to prepare for a day of shooting.  During the week another photographer had a job photographing food. My studio manager surprised us with a crate of assorted bags of tortilla chips. There were about 30 bags! Jokingly I asked him what about the guacamole? He came in with a bag of ripe avocados, onion, tomato and limes.  I spent the next 10 minutes making some killer guacamole for the crew and studio staff.  That was a first!

Unfortunately there was no tequila left over. Never too early for shots!
