This series were created in one of our latest Fashion photography workshops for outdoor lighting techniques used by many successful high Fashion Editorial photographers in the world

when it comes to creating images for advertising, commercials, billboard campaigns and magazine spreads or even movie posters, this type of lighting creates an exciting balance between light and shadows offering a dramatic, yet very artistic look, which can be enhanced even further in post , as we did here for dramatization purposes. Keep in mind that “No changes were made to how the model was lit or photographed”

In order to achieve the majority of the effects naturally and photographically, a combination of strobes were used with the natural sunlight

Our model, B.B is a Russian import that lives and studies in LA, and he is pursuing his career as an actor/model in Hollywood.
