June is Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat month! And for those of you who already have a cat, then June is Adopt-Another-Cat month! Seriously, there are many, many cats languishing in shelters just waiting to find a new place to sleep all day where they feel loved and safe.

Every year, MILLIONS of cats are euthanized before they are adopted.

Here are some websites where you can find out more about cat adoptions in the United States and the UK.

The CATalyst Council
American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Of course, everyone has their local organizations that offer lovely cats and kittens for adoption as well. Spread the word about Adopt-a-Cat Month.
