In this weeks selfie I can be seen practicing the very advanced and Ancient Feline Art of mouse dowsing. Yes, this time honoured skill utilises a cats facial antenna to find the ever elusive mouse that has gone to ground deep in the fabric of space and time, or as in this case somewhere between my office chair the seventh and eighth floors of the palace. 

   Please note: as perfect peace and quiet is required to complete the procedure, which requires multiple sets of triangulations throughout the day, you may find your own felines disgruntled if they are moved from where they are undertaking their endeavours. If you see your own feline undertaking this training, offerings of food should left within easy reach for nourishment between sessions.

   Of course this isn't to be confused this with napping, which is another Ancient Feline art employed to provide regeneration and general wellbeing–an art that was borrowed by the monks of a Buddhist persuasion. Though to my knowledge no buddhists have successfully completed the mouse dowsing extension course, which Mrs H says is something to do with religion. Me, I think it's the lack of whiskers, MOL
