Watts Los Angeles is a city where the stray population is quite prevalent and of common knowledge to most people who live there and those who don't. Yet with all of the Strays we have come across from that area, nothing beats the story of these two sweet and loving young PupsWhile attending to matters with some of our current Rescue pups, we had received a call from a dear volunteer to our rescue, full of distress. Kathy told us about two German Shepherd pups she had just stumbled upon that were injured and emaciated and whom were only a few feet from moving traffic.

At the time of rescue
The two pups were in terrible condition and had little strength and their close proximity to moving vehicles put them in and even more precarious position. While one pup struggled to move laid under a car, his sibling remained watchful and protective of his brother all while dodging several cars headed in his direction as he was in the street itself. With the situation as it was, we had no time to even think about new additions to the rescue and we of course had to say yes and get these two into safety. After some struggle and coaxing, Kathy managed to catch both strays and bring them to our vet hospital.

Devastating and much to our grief, we had realized they had been taped around their muzzles right before they most certainly were dumped in the streets. With our vet to confirm that was most likely the case, our hearts ached for these two and only made us grateful to have                                                                                        them safe from harm now.

They are both fully vetted and are in search of COMMITTED FOSTER OR LOVING FOREVER HOME in Southern California. The twins are about 12 months old and deserve the best forever home.
