Cape Town International Kite Festival 2017

This festival held in Muizenberg is 100 years old this year. Come and enjoy a day filled with fun and laughter. There will be amazing kite displays or you can bring your own kite and fly it high. Profits from this festival go towards helping Cape Mental Health. There will also be stalls, food, competitions and lots more. This is sure to be an exciting day out for the whole Family.

Season of Sauvignon
28-29 October
It is the start of the white wine season in the Durbanville Wine Valley. This is a weekend of fun and great times together. This season, get together with friends and family and savour the famous wines and enjoy some great food. You won’t have to worry about the kids, as there will be supervised kids activities available to keep them entertained.

This one is a little bit of a drive to Bredasdorp, but visitors can expect fun for the entire family. Workshops, fresh products, competitions, exhibitions all help to support local businesses.

The lifestyle and family event will be held in Orleans Park, Paarl. The day will be filled with fun, entertainment, competitions, a car show and more. A kiddie’s area will be available. Come together with family and friends and enjoy this traditional South African event.

Underwater photography of the year 2017

Find beautiful underwater photographs that everybody can admire and enjoy. Children under the age of 16 years can enter for free. The displayed photographs can be found at the Chavonnes Battery Museum at the V&A Waterfront.

Fantasy Skate at the V&A, with kids

South Africa’s first outdoor synthetic rink and you find it at the V&A Waterfront. The whole family can come and enjoy this ice-skating experience. The cost of a 20minute session on the ice will cost you R30. This activity is unfortunately not suitable for kids under the age of 4 years.
