The Inevitable Holiday Cold and Flu

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Vicks at Walmart. The opinions and text are all my own.

My phone dinged with what should have been a nice holiday message, asking if the kids and I could add a short trip to visit family to our holiday plans. But instead, I replied with a row of crying laughing emojis followed by the word “No.” Because at this time of year, who has time for anything unexpected? My December calendar is already scary full. With all the kids’ holiday activities and programs at school, presents to buy, parties to attend and some to plan, along with the typical daily to-do’s of working and parenting, there isn’t time for anything extra. Yet this time of year is often when I end up getting sick. I drink plenty of water, wash my hands frequently, and take my vitamins, but inevitably, I still manage to come down with something every year.

Cold and Flu symptoms can last as long as a week, so it’s important to be prepared and stock up on your sickness essentials (like Vicks at Walmart) now. I even use Walmart Online Grocery Pickup. I can create my order at grocery.walmart.com (and include Vick’s products in my cart), select a pickup time, and my bags are brought out to me when I get to the store. This saves me from having to go into the store still in my pajamas while I cough all over everyone.

Vick’s products provide relief from the toughest cough, cold, and flu symptoms. Plus, products with new VapoCool provide a rush of Vick’s vapors. When you get your Vicks Holiday Fix, those symptoms won’t keep you down for long. You can even save on these cold and flu products at Walmart with these offers (two things we need more of this holiday season: time and MONEY!):

• $1 off any Vicks product at Walmart (except drops, Sinex, and ZzQuil) – BrandSAVER coupon from the 11/25 newspaper
• $1 off Vicks Nyquil at Walmart – iBotta offer
• $0.75 off Vicks VapoDrops at Walmart – iBotta Offer
• Bonus $1.25 rebate when you use both iBotta offers

As busy as the holidays are, I’ve learned that if I get sick, I need to make sure to take care of myself. Vick’s products provide me with the relief needed to get some rest and get back to all the Christmas fun.
